Regarding loans, generally we can work with the loan officer of your choice!   However, we can recommend the following individuals as reputable lenders!   Buyers have the right to choose a lender, however, you should know that, "Internet Based Lenders are NOT regulated, as Texas Based lenders are!   Besides picking a trustworthy lender might keep in mind, that they all usually need a minimum of 21 days to close! Current Contracts do NOT give us "spare time" on loans, allowing for "glitches".   The listed lenders may help to avoid a last minute "melt-down!"  On another thought, lower rate loans sound very attractive, (we all like that,) but to get a surprise with "extra fees" or "problems", later, is not fun.   We urge that you get  several quotes,  with written "GFEs" (Good Faith Estimates) all quoted with the EXACT SAME loan parameters quoted at EXACTLY the SAME DAY and TIME (i.e. "12 noon on this Friday, with so much down, etc.")   This is the ONLY way anyone can compare them.   If you are not sure, please ask us to review the GFEs.   Also ask about the "Locking" and "Floating a rate."   Further, there are so-called "Junk Loans"  these have low interest rates and some lenders love them! ....   The person "recommending" a loan officer - May or May NOT really know the lender very well... you must compare them!
